What data is and is not collected

The site is an informational comparison resource. It does not offer user accounts, and there is nothing to register for. There is no newsletter and no mailing list, so no email addresses are gathered for marketing. There is no contact form on the site. Because none of these features exist, the site collects no personal data through them at all.

If a visitor chooses to make contact by post or by telephone, the information shared in that message, such as a name and the content of the query, is held only for as long as it takes to answer and to keep a reasonable record of the correspondence. It is not used for any other purpose and it is never added to a marketing list.

Like almost every website, the server that delivers these pages keeps standard access logs. These logs can include an Internet Protocol (IP) address, the browser and device type reported in the user agent string, the pages requested, and the date and time of each request. It currently runs no third-party analytics and no advertising trackers, so there is no cross-site tracking of visitors from these pages. Some links on the site lead to third-party sportsbooks and are affiliate links, as explained on the affiliate disclosure page. When a visitor follows one of these links and leaves the site, the destination sportsbook is an independent company that sets its own cookies and operates under its own privacy policy. Those third parties are outside the control of this site, and their handling of personal data is governed by their own terms, which a visitor should read before opening an account.

Legal basis, retention and sharing

The lawful basis for keeping server access logs and for handling correspondence is legitimate interest: the interest in running a secure, functioning website and in responding to people who get in touch. Data is retained only for as long as it is needed for those purposes and is then deleted or allowed to expire.
