What is a Premier League supercomputer prediction?
A supercomputer prediction is simply the result of running the rest of the season many thousands of times and counting how often each outcome happens. There is no single crystal-ball forecast. Instead the tool plays every remaining fixture over and over, then reports the share of runs in which a club wins the title, finishes in the top four or goes down. A figure like a 62 percent title chance means the team came first in 62 of every 100 simulated seasons, not that the trophy is settled.
How does the Monte Carlo simulation work in plain terms?
Every club carries a strength rating, and each unplayed match is decided by chance weighted towards the stronger side, with a built-in edge for the home team and a realistic rate of draws. The tool rolls those weighted odds for all the remaining games, tallies the final table, and stores the result. Repeat that ten thousand times and clear patterns emerge from the noise. That method of learning from many random trials is what a Monte Carlo simulation is, and it runs entirely in your browser.
Do my picked results stay fixed in the simulation?
Yes. Any fixture you click in the what-if table is treated as settled and held constant in every single run, so the simulator only rolls the dice on the games you have left open. That lets you lock in the results you feel sure about, then watch how the title race or the relegation fight plays out around them. Reset your picks at any time and the whole remaining schedule goes back to being simulated.
Is this betting advice?
No. The supercomputer is an analysis tool built to show how a season could unfold, not a tipping service. The ratings are our own estimate, the model is deliberately simple, and real football throws up injuries, form swings and results no model sees coming. Treat the percentages as a way to think about likelihood, never as a prompt to place a bet. If you do bet, the odds on offer matter as much as the probability, which is what the value scoreboard is for.
How many simulations does the supercomputer run?
Ten thousand full seasons per run. That is enough to give stable percentages for the common outcomes while still finishing in a second or two on a normal phone or laptop. Because the work happens on your own device, nothing is sent to a server and you can re-run it as often as you like, including after nudging the team-strength sliders to build your own version of the model.
